MORE GOOD NEWS!

Just received word today that Tootie AND Winston both have homes waiting for them up north!!! They will be on their way to their new homes next Thursday!!! After waiting over a month, we now have 4 dogs leaving within a week of each other- way to go Brigitte and Deb!!!

Thanks again to our wonderful foster moms, Teresa and Laura. Without you guys, we couldn't do what we do! Even more good news came today...my wonderful friend and fellow dog rescuer, Diana, just received news that her precious Blue may be rescued next week as well! I have included some pictures of this sweet boy as a reminder! It's just amazing what can happen when people work together!

Blue in the hospital after being hit by a car and left for dead...

Blue with his doggy angel, Diana, who paid for all of his vetting and loves him like one of her own! A big thanks to Shirlee for fostering this sweetie for Diana!

How precious is this boy!

We desperately need indoor foster homes for a few weeks. We have many dogs waiting to be rescued AND rescues willing to take them IF we can get them into an indoor loving home for a few weeks.

We are also looking for help on transport day (Thursdays). The transport leaves Memphis around 12:45-1:00 pm (near Summer/White Station). Because many of our fosters work, we are looking for volunteers to either keep the dog(s) leaving overnight the night before or meet the foster early in the morning and take them to the transport. Even if you can just help out once a month that would be great (or even just once!). For any volunteer housing dogs or transporting dogs, we will need you to fill out some background information and perhaps be open to a home visit as well. This is to ensure the safety of our dogs (I hope you understand).

Check back soon for pictures of adorable adoptables from the Osceola Animal Shelter! We ask that you please share their pictures with your friends, co-workers, e-mail lists. You never know who may be up for a new family member- networking does work!
