MORE FURKIDS NEEDING TEMPORARY FOSTERS

UPDATE 7/27/10: Marsha and Woodrow are on their way North to a very small rescue group! However, we are very sad to report that rescue did not come in time for Morey... may he rest in peace. There are not enough people willing to foster and too many dogs needing rescue.

These 3 precious dogs were surrendered by their owner to the Forrest City Animal Shelter because they can no longer care for them. They are very docile and shy according to volunteers. Thanks to Aimee in Michigan, a rescue is willing to take Woodrow and Marsha (even though they are heartworm positive AND overrun at this time). Connie has offered to pay boarding for those two (up to $200!) so that they can be "safe" (thanks so much!). Morey does not yet have a doggy angel and is nearly out of time.

How can you help? Well...you could either foster Woodrow and Marsha so that their sponsor money could maybe be used to help save Morey (i.e., improve his chances of "rescue") OR you could foster Morey while we work on finding rescue for him OR you could donate funding to help board Morey. You could also help spread the word- you never know who might be interested in helping!
