WISHING YOU ALL THE HUGS AND KISSES YOU COULD EVER WANT IN YOUR NEW LIFE!

Romeo (aka Buffy) was surrendered by his owner to the Forrest City Animal Shelter in AR for "digging in the yard". He was out of time and needed a miracle. Thanks to relentless postings from many doggy angels, Romeo found his foster angel, Aimee, in Michigan!

Romeo is doing fantastic with Aimee. A recent update from Aimee revealed that poor Romeo had been through much more than anyone could have ever imagined. After a visit to the vet for x-rays to determine the extent of his heartworm disease, it was discovered that Romeo had essentially been used "for target practice" as Aimee put it. X-rays revealed 5 pellets, 1 by his spine, and 4 near his heart and lungs. This is a true survivor. This is one of the cases where you can't help but feel good that you were involved in his rescue. This boy deserves to experience love...once and for all!

Romeo is scheduled to start heartworm treatment very soon. We will update everyone on his progress. Say a prayer or two for this sweet boy!

We loved precious Romeo and enjoyed our short time with him. We will really miss him!

Thank you Lynn for helping to bring Romeo to his foster mommy, Aimee, in Michigan!

Precious little Derby hitched a ride with Lynn to a new life too! Derby's mom is available for adoption through OARS in Neenah, Wisconsin!

Come on already...let's go!
Safe travels!
