We are SOOOOO excited that Oso, Bo, and Patty Sue will be headed NORTH on Saturday to start their new lives (cross your fingers and paws that it is permanent!). Thanks to some wonderful doggy angels, these 3 have the chance to start wonderful new lives!
Doggy angel Kerry G. is taking on the challenge of working with precious Bo from the Osceola Animal Shelter in Arkansas. Please check out their Petfinder site and share their babies! http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/AR73.html). Bo has had a tough start in life, spending 75% of his life in the shelter (he's almost 1 now). Long story short, he went to a rescue up north but it didn't work out as Bo was not quite ready for all that change. Kerry is going to work with him on basic training (he's a bit rambunctious as you can imagine being penned up all the time) and socialization. He will be living in Appleton, WI if anyone up there is interested in meeting him! THANK YOU SO MUCH KERRY!!!
Lucky Bo- how handsome is this boy?!!!
Doggy angel Donna M. is doing Kevin and me an enormous favor. She has offered to foster Oso in her fabulous doggy daycare facility in Ironwood, MI called Camp K-Nine so that we can fix up the area of our home where he has been staying (trying to sell our house to get some property for the doggies). Check out this fantastic place http://www.campk-nine.com/ . We sincerely hope that Oso will get the exposure he needs to find the home he deserves, but if not, he can come back here with us! DONNA YOU ARE A SAINT! On top of Oso, Donna believes she has the perfect client for Patty Sue who found herself in the Osceola Animal Shelter too! Patty Sue has not had the greatest life thus far, but that's all about to change!
Awww the face of an angel...Oso!
Adorable Patty Sue after her new hairdo!
How are these babies getting to their new destination??? Well...that is thanks to some wonderful doggy angels as well. HUGE HUGE thank you to my sister Kelly A. and our friend Linda J. for volunteering to meet in order to transport these lucky fur-souls! You two are true life-savers and your dedication is so appreciated! Linda J is even going the extra mile and allowing Oso and Patty Sue to bunk at her house for the night AND transporting them another 4 hours on Sunday! Great people make the world better :)
We are also incredibly grateful to our amazing friend Beth R., who ALWAYS goes above and beyond to help us. She has even set up a Chip-In to help with gas and has been relentless in passing it around Facebook. WE LOVE YOU BETH!!! If you find it in your heart (and wallet) to help, please click on the link below (even $5 helps!). We "rescue" folks cannot do this without your support! THANK YOU to Ann B, Kelly A, Chris, and Sarah for chipping in so far- Doggy Angels ROCK!
