OH SWEET JEWEL...SHE DESERVES THE BEST HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

Oh PLEASE someone help me find this precious mommy a wonderful home! Jewel has come such a long way in 2 months. She was petrified when she first arrived, but now is very playful with me. She is still a bit stand-off-ish with new people, but is not mean at all. She has been the most fabulous mommy. I have some new pictures of her from today (not the greatest though). She was weaning her babies the last few days and then today....urgh. She let them nurse again. Please don't write to me and tell me they should be weaned as I already know that (lol). My vet told me last week that it was ok to let her nurse and that she would let them know when she was finished (which she was in the process of doing). Sooo...here we go again :)

The puppies are now 8 weeks old as of December 8th. They are eating regular kibble (with the occasional glass of milk apparently). As you may have read, Amber and Jade have adoptions pending. No one yet has expressed interest in the boys, (Copper, Malachite, and Sterling), but we do expect that to change once they are posted on Petfinder (which hopefully will be very soon). However, Jewel deserves to live a pampered life so please help me find her a great home. She is only about a year old and is heartworm negative. She will be spayed as soon as I get the ok from the vet.
Dinner time!

An after dinner drink...oops

I think this is precious though (even though they may be too old)

Jewel loves to hang out in my doggy fort I made in the backyard. I know it's not the prettiest thing in the world but don't worry...no one can see it thankfully. It poured down rain one day and I
felt so bad for my fur-babies having to go out to potty that I rigged this up for them :) They have about 18 feet x 5 feet or so (it serves the purpose).

Inside of the fort (see you CAN use a hammock in the winter- hee hee)

Jewel hanging out in the fort! She is the only one that will go in the doghouse. She likes to hide bones in the straw and take them out later!

Just gorgeous Jewel!
