ADOPTION PENDING: JEWEL'S PUP, AMBER!

We are soooo excited that Amber is being adopted by a wonderful family in Wisconsin! We are just working on transport to get this sweetie north. Here are some recent pictures of this lucky girl! She is hoping her brothers find their fur-ever homes too! Amber is going to make a fabulous companion!

UPDATED PICS OF JEWEL'S PUP, STERLING!

Oh my love...this is Sterling all grown up (well not really, but he is changing). Sterling is just a hunk! You can probably see from these pictures, he is a laid back pup (well he will definitely play, but today was a rainy, lazy day). Sterling appears to be an Aussie mix and his coat is like cashmere. He still has a gorgeous gray coat, but you can see more brown coming through now for sure. Oh if I could just keep this boy (he was the runt and is now the largest of the bunch!). Call Allie at 901-240-9848 or email allieot98@yahoo.com if you would like an application for this cutie!

UPDATED PICS OF JEWEL'S PUP, COPPER

Copper...oh my goodness. This is one precious little guy. Some people think he may be part Aussie and some people think maybe Springer Spaniel (or Spaniel mix of some kind)...who knows. Copper has the softest coat (makes you want to hug him). He still bats his little paw in the air to get you to play. You often see him "watching you" like some of these pictures show. He is gorgeous and very very sweet.

UPDATED PICTURES OF JEWEL'S PUP, MALACHITE

Ok folks...this is Malachite. He turned 8 weeks old on December 8th and is hoping that someone will find him utterly adorable and take him home! Malachite is probably the fiesty one compared with his siblings. He loves to play with all of them and is ready any time! He is also a vocal little one (he talks to you). We think that Malachite still looks the most like his mommy. If you think you can find it in your heart and home to provide this baby a fur-ever home, contact Allie at 901-240-9848 or allieot98@yahoo.com (we will email you an application).

UPDATED PICTURES OF ADORABLE ANNA!

Oh my goodness...Anna is just ADORABLE in person! Little Anna is still waiting for someone to show an interest in her. She is the sweetest and most playful little girl you will ever meet. She is always up for a romp and play with anyone! Anna is so sweet with Gracie too. I thought she was going to be too rough, but she is actually very good with her. Gracie thinks she has the upper hand, but actually Anna just "lets her win".

Anna is approximately a year old. She would love to have a canine buddy to play with if at all possible. Anna is a beagle mix (the vet and I think she actually has a little bit of pug in her- a Puggle perhaps but with a bit more beagle in her than pug, but you'd have to see her in person to believe us- lol). We don't know for sure what she is, but we do know that she is precious and would make a wonderful family pet. Anna will let you know if a stranger approaches too. She is just an all around wonderful little girl. She weighed 35 pounds at last vet check.

I have to tell you with all honesty, Anna is definitely one of the easier foster pups we have had. She is completely housetrained (at least so far and it's been about a month and a half). We feel bad because she is currently having to live in a small part of our hallway with a baby gate because we have a personal dog that isn't so crazy about new female dogs in "her home" (lol). Anna does not deserve this. Don't get me wrong, we "rotate" time out of her "hole" (rescue people know what I am talking about with rotating dogs I'm sure), but she needs to have a family and a home to call her own. Please give her a chance or at least share her information.

Anna tries so hard to play with Gracie, but she isn't quite sure yet what to think about her larger foster buddy yet.

So adorable- all this girl wants to do is play!

Are you ready to play with me???

Here Anna is waiting for Gracie to come around the chair to try to entice her into playing with her!

Again looking for her "friend" so she can play
Gracie finally agreeing to play with Anna- if you look in the background you can see my Munchkin looking not very impressed (lol)

Oh it's on sista...

They played so well together (Gracie getting the upper hand here...so she thinks)
Oh this is so much fun!

Anna is actually very gentle with little Gracie

How sweet is this- Anna allows Gracie to just chew on her (lol)

Anna is just waiting to see what we will do next!

She is looking a bit guilty here

Anna likes to collect toys and bones and "hoard them". You can't tell from the picture, but she gathered 4 or 5 bones from the house!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE!

I have been very behind in posting on here...so sorry. My husband and I would like to wish everyone wonderful memories and lots of love over the Holidays. While you are enjoying much needed time off, consider volunteering at a local animal shelter. You will be amazed at how much the little fur-souls appreciate just being walked.

Please be sure to keep your fur-babies warm and close! If you see any fur-babies left out in the cold or if someone has just fallen on hard times and cannot afford straw or a dog house, please contact local rescue groups for help. Please don't look the other way...they need us. As soon as I hear that it is dipping down into the teens, all I can think about is the poor fur-souls that live outside around here. If I had a dollar for everytime someone told me "Oh they like it outside" or "He/She doesn't mind it at all" I would actually have money to burn. They actually think that their fur coats are enough...I always tell them "Why don't you spend the night outside just once with just a coat on and let me know how it felt in the morning". People don't realize dogs can suffer from frostbite too. The next time you drive around, please look in people's yards to see where there may be a need. You can always call me at 901-240-9848 (Allison) if it is someone in this area (Memphis, West Memphis, etc) and I will do everything I can to help.

Check back soon for updated pictures of some of my foster dogs!
